Why should Abe Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League and Marvin Hier of the Simon Wiesenthal Center get to have all the fun deciding who and what is anti-Semitic? Now it’s your turn!

Cynthia McKinney

Cynthia McKinney is a former U.S. Congresswoman and Green Party candidate for President of the United States. In 2002 and 2008, members of her family and campaign staff publicly blamed “the Jews” and “the Zionists” for her electoral defeat. Abe Foxman said, “It’s astonishing that in a democratic election anti-Semitism still rears its ugly head.” In 2008 and 2009, McKinney participated in the Free Gaza Movement’s efforts to break the Israeli naval blockade of the Gaza Strip. That same year the Southern Poverty Law Center reported that McKinney was keeping acquaintance with known Holocaust deniers. During a 2011 visit to Iran, McKinney appeared on Iranian state television and claimed that U.S. lawmakers were required to pledge assistance to Israel or their campaigns would not receive funding.
